Flirting with O.B.
Hot Shots DGC is a very interesting course that is located in a very populous area in Southern Maryland. Located in a public park, that has the disc golf course isolated fairly well away from other parts of the park, so very little concern about non-disc golfers in your way...
I was looking around the boards and thought maybe there should be a thread to post stories/links about Tournaments/Clubs/Individuals who are promoting disc golf in a awesome light to try and promote it. Not necessarily as "Hey look this is disc golf, help build more courses" type deal but more...
Ask and you shall receive.
What picture fails to really depict is the OB 35 feet out behind it and the hill that most people land on and have to putt downhill at the elevated basket. Now that's a putt
I suppose this also starts to ask the question of who plays division by ratings? I know in my area people typically play in higher divisions than their ratings suggest. That being said if a guy plays by his rating he is playing against players who have stepped up into a division they do not...

The Ying to the Yang
Boulder Woods is a relatively easy to navigate and play disc course located in Pinchot Sate park. The course makes good use of what could be described as moderately wooded areas (4-17) and a lightly wooded area (1-3, 18). The fairways are very generous for the most part and...

Getting close to perfection?
Scarboro Hills is an excellent disc golf course which is located in a very isolated park and makes good use of the lay of the land. The course is well maintained by the Parks and Rec department. The course has undergone a major overhaul since it's original...

A Course to Introduce the Sport
This course was designed to be used to introduce the sport to the public. It was placed in a very busy recreation center to get interest in the sport, serve as a training course, and to get the disc moving towards future courses in the area.
The layout of the...
