I threw the flat yellow q vela today against my 22 Barsby eagle. BEEFY! No turn, more fade than eagle even when it was new. I throw eagles 330-370 and the vela is 20 feet shorter and finishes harder with more skip.

I got three q velas in the mail. The orange one is an exact match for my flatter CG Barsby eagles. The yellow and blue are more flat and have a higher parting line.

A guy on my card was throwing one. I like the luster invader a lot, but the nexus and dx are smaller in the hand. They seemed to have more high speed wiggle and did not fade. Slightly straighter than the luster, but awkward in my hand at least.

I think it is a great disc. Definitely longer and more understable than an S Line FD, but it can handle a good rip and a soft finesse drive as well.
