I'm looking for a new understable distance driver, particularly one with a good right turn so I don't have to use side-arm shots and so that I can get more distance. My question is which disc should be easier to throw for distance and keep straight if need be.

I really want to build this because the ponds in North Carolina are deep, murky, and occasionally home to flesh-eating bacteria, and they often eat lots of discs.
How do you throw this 40 ft? It looks like it is too fragile to chuck it backhand or side-arm like a disc. Not to mention awkward...
