    Instructional Videos

At the time of the clinic I attended, I believe Scott was in Asia. I think he was having some dental work done while he was there due to the high cost here in the States. I've been told Scott lived out of a van during his playing days. Not sure if that's true, it's just what I was told by...

    Instructional Videos

Earlier this year, I noticed Scott Stokely was having an in person clinic in my area. Like many, I have struggled with timing and weightshift issues for far too long. I thought here was my chance to finally get some hands on instruction from someone who has forgotten more about throwing a disc...

    [Innova] Old School Aviar Question

I'm looking forward to trying out the DT Omega when it arrives. I will say I find the Jawbreaker challenger feels very much like my old Aviar as far as the plastic is concerned. Honestly, to my amateur eye the mold looks close as well. If anyone is looking for a replacement for the Aviar of the...

    [Innova] Old School Aviar Question

Oh, I didn't mean to imply they were worth $300 that's just how much an unused one is currently priced on Ebay. As we all know, the asking price and true value are two different things. I'm sure I could learn to love the $12 Omega DT I just ordered.

    [Innova] Old School Aviar Question

Thanks for the advice elmexdela. I'm currently trying out several different brands. I like the feel of the Discraft Jawbreaker. A picture of the original Aviar I seek can be found for sale on Ebay. Listing Title is Rare 1991 2 chain Aviar. Not sure I would feel comfortable playing with a $300 disc.

    [Innova] Old School Aviar Question

Thanks Three Putt. I remember when the Millennium line first came out. I got an LS and JLS which I still throw. I always liked the feel of the Millennium plastic. Looking at the profile of the DT Omega, it does look familiar. I will give the Omega a try. Putting can be as much mental as...

    [Innova] Old School Aviar Question

Back in the 1990's, I purchased an Aviar putter. It had a softer feel to it than all of my other Innova disc of that era. I believe people refer to this putter as a two chain Aviar. I still have it but after 20 years away from the sport I figured I would update my disc if I was going to start...

    Returning after 20 years

I started playing disc golf back in the early 90's. Back in those days we bought our disc from a guy selling Innova plastic out of the trunk of his car. There was no e-commerce back then. Looking back, it must have appeared "sketchy" to have a bunch of guys gathered around a car with cash in...
