The tree placement was decent at first but now I'm not so sure how I feel about it with all of them being cleared out. The gates and fences to keep the prairie dogs out are pretty sweet. The baskets themselves are quite nice as well.

Cute Course
The expansion of new tee boxes finally brings some variety to the course. Tree placement makes this course. Holes are not very long but the tree placement makes this course extremely fun. Baskets and paved tee boxes are well maintained.

Paved boxes, quality baskets and signs help create a great atmosphere. Tree placement can be frustrating but makes for great practice on some trickier technical shots.

Professional but wet
Well designed. A great mix of distance and technicality. Water adds a fun mix of pressure and skill. Holes 1, 7, and 14 are gems.
Since its so close the Grand River, flooding can be extremely troublesome. Hole 15 can be nearly impossible half the season.

Well Rounded Course
A good mix of technical and long shots. Competition can go back and forth depending on your skill sets. The first few holes are quite tricky through wooded areas. A few of the middle holes have some wide open 400+ ft fairways.

Go early or late
Great terrain and post layouts. Beautiful landscape with rolling hills and fantastic skylines. This is where I learned to play and this will probably always be my favorite course.
