Rare Wooded Course
All the holes are relatively short, makes you feel like a pro when you can birdie nearly every hole.
Has a bathroom.
Nice view of the canyon along a few holes.
Shaded in the summer.
The best tee pad signs I have ever encountered.
Good for practice
Can play in about 30...

Better Than Most in the Area
Smallish course that can be played in 30-45 minutes.
Shorter holes make it a good beginners course.
Easy to get to, just off of the main road.
Has a bathroom.
Clean
Interesting holes for the size allocated
Good for practicing obstructed shots
The course is covered in...

The Best Around
Not in a park or near a park. Strictly a disc golf course and fairly isolated, that means no kids, runner, bicyclists. Great tee pads and easy to navigate. Spray painting arrows on the round tee pads to indicate direction of basket is golden. Is not crowded. Really quirky if you...

Nice Manicured Course
Nicely maintained course.
Great use of the area allotted
Some really cool mandos
Restrooms close by
Because some of the holes criss-cross other players might get in the way occasionally
Mostly dirt and gravel course
Some of the baskets are close together making your...

Taos Could Do Better
Truly awesome mountain views.
Not a lot of people playing, I had the course to myself.
You will need a sherpa guide to help you navigate this course. Despite trying both the 9 and 18 hole layouts on UDisc I could not find my way past the first two holes. You can see the...

Decent Neighborhood Course
Most tee pads are easy to find and single is good. The park is usually vacant if played during the week and during the day. Easy to make par on nearly all shots. There is even a 90 footer. The course is far away from the hustle and bustle of Albuquerque.
Small parking...

Lake Olmsted Awesomeness
Stunning scenery along a nice lake. I agree it is not in the best part of town but still not too seedy. I had no problems. The holes are challenging but still open enough to score a par if you have some talent.
There are to restroom opportunities. A porta potty near...

Good Course for Hiking/Playing
Absolutely stunning views. Layout was given a lot of thought. Helpful staff at the ski office. Great way to get some exercise as well as play some baskets. Equipment is brand new. Unique in that it is one of the highest courses in the world.
If you take the lift...

Haslet Park
When I played I was the ONLY PERSON in the entire park. It is compact and you can see every basket on the course from any hole. Short distances are a great confidence builder. Well kept park. Little chance of losing a disc. Easy to find. The course is nicely laid out and the markers...

Thompson Park
Easy to navigate as most baskets are visible from the previous basket. Just off of the road if you are passing through Amarillo.
Amarillo can be windy often making it challenging for an accurate throw. The creek that runs through the park and along some throwing routes is pretty...

Riverside Park
Some super long baskets (if that is your thing). The tee boxes have concrete pads. Lots of shade (it was 93F when I played). Most of the holes have a marker with map but a few are missing.
I went the day after Memorial day and the park area where the first few baskets are nearly...

West Guth Park
Good elevation changes. Spread out for some very nice long shots. You get a work out walking the course.
I made the mistake of playing this course on Memorial Day. LOTS of kids and picnickers there. One was using a basket to hang their jackets (why I don't know, it was 93F). A...

Waldron
Challenging holes. The tee box for hole 4 is along side the street next to the basketball hoops. Hard to find from hole 3. Some long holes with challenging shots makes for a very interesting course in a smallish park. Overall I like it a lot. I skipped hole number 8 because, as a...
