Help me get new hyzer crush drivers

Call me old school, but a pro wraith with two weeks-ish of season on it will hang with just about anything. Look for mild dome if you can.

    La Mirada or Huntington?

I'm in the area for a work trip and I have an afternoon to get a round in. I'm equal parts distance to Huntington Beach course and La Mirada. Which one should I play? Any locals around here?

Makes sense. What I liked about it in particular was the visual aid with the PVC or whatever implement he used. Similar to ride the bull with the pool cue but shorter - so it helped me with some pretty immediate feedback wrt orienting the spine on either leg. It was pretty eye opening, or at...

Ok this concept is starting to make sense. How do you like this for side bend/tilt? He goes into some hip depth/butt wipe as well around 7m in.

Many thanks. For clarity’s sake, was this in response to my most recent vid? Reason I ask is you mention the pendulum and I’ve used a pendulum style throw in past recent videos. But you also reference the pendulum momentum in general so just wanted to be sure.

    Form Check/update

I'm starting to think that my previous cross step was too long and perhaps throwing off rear leg balance. Tried a more vertical little hop today and really focused on keeping my mass inside of my rear foot (Northward). Also was thinking of my rear leg almost as a pole vault pole (but less...

    First form check!

Not a critique, merely an observation: Looks like you're bending over a good bit out of the backswing/in to the plant - almost like you're squatting into the rear leg/sending the ass back somewhat. But it's hard to say because your rear knee doesn't seem to flex much. Again, just an observation...

    Form Check/update

Tried a couple things yesterday. I notice no cosmetic changes mechanics-wise, however, adding a little hop did yield about 10% more distance with much less input effort. Issues still persist with posture and balance, so rear leg balance will continue to be my focus before I worry about...

Swung a 15lb kettlebell today. Pretty enlightening. You'll see the momentum 'toss me around like a rag doll' then you'll see my try to mitigate that (probably to little avail). What this did teach me is that the brace is way more active than I thought, or at least than how I was...

Dumping a few clips from today's session. Things are generally all out of whack. Need to figure out this rear leg pronto as my plant side joints are starting to feel fatigue. If any of you fellas want to trade my cash for your coaching via zoom or otherwise, drop me a DM. I tend to struggle...

    Form Check/update

Back with a quick DD attempt. On the first toss out of it, the shoulders did seem to settle a bit more into a natural hyzer orientation. Still looks like I'm shifting more in front than behind, however, and there's perhaps some shoulder collapse.

    Form Check/update

Yeah I was thinking battering ram or drilling deep hyzers with flippy plastic to keep my angles honest. What I generally see in my current form is that my shoulders telegraph a substantial amount of anhyzer coming into the transition when my intention is slight hyzer. I suspect that this has...

    Form Check/update

I'd tend to agree with the overall analysis. I've recently been thinking about the tilted spiral vs my previous notions of shoulder turn - which I think I modeled as more of a rotation orthogonal to the spine, or maybe parallel to the ground. Anthropometry probably don't work like that tho. I...

Trying to turn the pelvis further back. This is more open-close drill than whip step I suppose. I only had a few minutes. Pelvis Turn
