After putting with Ions, Anodes, Proxies, Atoms, Spin, Envy and other brands and all different plastics I have came to the conclusion that my perfect putter is an electron Proxy about 160g. So uh any word when Axiom molds will get Electron plastic?
Got a ~157g proton Clash for my wife as this is said to have more turn than a Crave with the fade of a overstable disc. She loves it! She gets a fair amount of turn and a controlled strong fade. She can hit the S she wants and carve through trees. She primarily uses a Crave for normal driving...
So a poorly thrown disc doesn't fly well?
150 class Relay would be great. My wife also loves her 150 class Crave and a super light Fission Volt may also be good. If you are looking to improve just throw putters and midranges. I personally love my Proxies of all flavors and weights.
I have a ~155g Fission Photon and a 155g Neutron Defy. The Defy is much newer but it flies much more stable. The Defy isn't fully beat in to be fair though where the Photon I have been throwing for a while.
Your video pretty make confirms what i'm seeing in my Matrix. When I first threw it, it was nice and glidey overstable. Now it's worn in a little bit and it just seems very straight. Guess I need to go back to a Tensor.
Between my wife and I we have a Melon, Neutron, Soft Neutron, and 5 Plasmas. We putt with the plasma's and throw everything else. The flight difference really is negligible. The Plasmas fly a bit more understable but they are 160g with everything else being around 174g. Except for the Wife's...
Went out for another round this morning and this disc is in the bag for sure. It is just a notch more overstable than a Tensor. Feels better in the hand. And seems to glide just a bit more. On overstable throws and drives I can nearly pin point this thing. At least it feels that way, which...
It didn't feel dumpy. It just had a nice steady fade. Didn't meat hook on me. Went straight for about 70% of its flight and then had a nice steady fade. I took the Vector out of my bag because that just seemed to hit it's low speed part of flight and fall down straight and I couldn't count on it...
It seems to have a nice steady turn to it. It held the anny to the ground for me. It was rather wet this morning and I wasn't getting the best throws with it but it seems to do what you would expect from an understable putter.
Got my pack today and the Spin definitely is understable. On a 250-275' throw it easily pops to flat and keeps turning a bit. It doesn't turn super fast but it has a nice gradual turn to it. I'm use to the Proxy and Envy and it the Spin is a bit a deeper disc like the Ion. Overall I'm keeping it...
