Yup, I never got into mids back then so no Rocs but yeah, Aviar or XD, Stingray, beat Viper, new Viper. Before the Viper it was Scorpion for me and Cobra for my friends.

Ya there is bug juice that's only for use on clothing, and it works great. It's called permethrin... spray your golf clothes with it and the treatment will last through several washings. It is a bug poison. Somehow the mosquitos know to stay away from it. Apparently it also kills ticks on...
You have to imagine the "missed mando" lines and think about this rule of thumb:
When there's a double mando, there are two separate "missed" lines. If your drive (a) makes the mando and (b) crosses backwards over one of them, you still can't cross forwards over the other one as in #9.
Thanks, Chuck. That is helpful.
Great idea. Far simpler, and I agree that if an area was supposed to be protected by the mando, there shouldn't be exceptions that let you throw that way sometimes.
@PMantle: good for you, but all of us are going to have to deal with people's confusion...
Ya, I'm still confused by #10 too. I saw a shot exactly like this a few weeks ago -- we watched the drive make the mando, then turn into a cut roller that crossed behind it and backwards over the "missed" line from the pin side. We all called it good as we saw the disc cross the "made" line. The...
No, you just have to ignore the "20 feet up" part of the question, just like you have to ignore "four minutes have elapsed" -- both are red herrings and neither is relevant under the normal PDGA rules.
I for one would have no problem competing against a player who putted that way. I don't see it as an advantage for the taller players. Certainly no more than the advantages they have now (more options to throw over bushes, etc.).
#1 Try to release when your hand is around the 4:30 position on the disc. Nose-down putts come from a 6:00 release point.
Figure out whatever it takes to get a perfectly flat, wobble-free flight that has some loft to it. Disc angles can come later.
Instead of trying to speed up your arm for...
Like the eraser at the end of a #2 pencil -- has a toothy, non-shiny surface texture. You can kind of see it here:

For me this texture works great when wet but it gets too slippery in dry, dusty conditions.
Weight and texture.
175g, smooth: most putts inside 25' or so, windy putts, upshots
175g, eraser-soft: better grip in wet conditions
165g, smooth: long putts, short upshots
168g, super soft: long putts in wet conditions, touch annie flicks
I usually like to take two putters to my lie and pick...
