Upper body timing is far more superior than lower body anything, any old day of the week considering that's what ejects the disc.

Agreed, I just do these exercises to avoid long term injury and keep my body in shape and more consistent with my throw. There is really no good reason to "not" workout in my opinion. I just basically use a hand exerciser and clamp down short quick bursts as opposed to slowly closing your hand...

also, when practicing everything, it is important to do it from a standstill until you cant go anywhere else with your timing, then start slow adding a step here and there.
this problem is OAT cause because you may be gripping too firmly too early. you have to basically grip firmly at the point of the "pound" (release). just like when they teach you to punch in boxing. that last second twitch that closes your hand.
the wrist will bend keeping your grip and pull fluid throughout, but that is not the difficult part. the difficult part that most people fail to do is opening the wrist completely at the end to release the disc and fling it out of the hand after the wrist extension takes place. the wrist can...
