300', then 350' with strikers and visions a long time ago, have struggled to break 400' for a long time(like 10 years...)
This season I finally did it, 400' and 450' with an opto flow, and '500 with a broken in 162g 1.1 SOLF in a 20-25mph tailwind
Opto Flow, high hyzer flip/anny that will slowly straighten and might fade back a bit. Just had my farthest no-wind throw with it this week, of course it was an extra throw between two holes... 400' from the basket to the next tee, woods ~15' past the tee pad, was still ~10' off the ground and...
Core - a bit faster, completely different grip and feel, but in calm/no winds they fly damn close for me. New they have decent hss and minimal fade, as they season they seem to lose hss and lss pretty evenly. Core will turn a bit more into a headwind but fade a bit more at the end.
I'm Not Sure... Maybe? Is This How The ShIft Key Should Work? ;)
I don't think Innova's shift key worked back in the '80s, or maybe their caps lock was broken/backwards since the font says aviaR.
The lowercase avia, along with the iaR being linked together makes me doubt it's a standard font. Either custom artwork or a font Innova made specifically for the disc, either way good luck using it for anything yourself.
Never thrown the Extreme, but I can't think of anything better than an Opto XXX for FH rollers. The blunt nose just makes it so predictable on the ground and holds the line you want. Also perfect for overhands, ship shots, and any regular throw that needs to stay overstable and laugh at any wind.
Can't believe(or maybe don't want to...) there's a 10 page bitch fest about this.
Almost all of the time, when comparing discs and someone says one is more stable than the other, it means more overstable.
Also, on the S vs Flex shot, a flex shot is defiantly an overstable disc thrown with...
A touch faster than the TB, but close enough to replace one for the other depending what you like. The striker can be worked on any line just like the TB, very mild turn and fade at 350' power. They mold up pretty consistent, but there are a couple freak runs that are OS like a Firebird, my...
+1 Surprised your the only one to mention it, defiantly an underrated mold in hard or soft. For a putter it's very overstable to start, but as it gets beat up it loses fade faster than HSS. The bottom edge is sharper than most putters, so it digs in better and doesn't skid or skip as far on...
