4.00 star(s) Put On Your Hiking Shoes Tons of elevation changes, heavily wooded, challenging, 18 holes, creative design with diverse assortment of throws. Fun fun fun. Very poorly marked. Bring someone who is familiar with the course your first time, then return again and again to play.

3.50 star(s) The Ultimate Challenge Very challenging course. Egg basket style pins make it especially challenging. Heavily wooded, good elevation changes, plenty of hazards. Lots of fun! All short distance shots. Needs concrete tee pads. Someone spray painted numbers and arrows on trees to direct you from...

3.00 star(s) Potential for Greatness! Beautiful park alongside the river. Heavily wooded. Pins is good condition. Challenging course. Very muddy, both the tee boxes and the pathways. This course desperately needs concrete tee pads and some gravel in muddy spots. I hope somebody makes this a project because...

3.00 star(s) Lunch Break Park is clean and well maintained. Decent variety of distances. Trees offer plenty of shady spots. Dirt tee pads, could be more clearly marked, possibility of hitting people with discs as there are overlapping walking paths and a playground.

Review by MrNiceFella in course Tom Bass Regional Park - Powell

2.50 star(s) Windfest! Lots of holes to play. Great place to get a tan because there isn't any shade. Good course for beginners. Very flat, very open, not much challenge other than wind. Needs a major update to official course map. Dirt tee pads. If some Boy Scout would pick this park up as an Eagle project...

Review by MrNiceFella in course MacGregor Park - Old Layout

3.00 star(s) Fun Game Multiple distance tees. Lots of trees. Fun place to play. I wouldn't be comfortable going to this park without a couple of buddies. There are some shady characters that hang out in and around the park. Layout of course was a little bit confusing.

Review by MrNiceFella in course Jim Mozola Memorial DGC (Bayou Course)

2.00 star(s) I HATE Losing Discs! In the heart of downtown. Layout is confusing, water is in play on almost every hole and good luck recovering your disc after you throw it in. No tee pads. Some homeless dude was trying to give away a pair of pants the day we went. If you need a size 38 waste pair of pants...

3.00 star(s) Well Played I believe this is one of the original disc golf courses in the Houston area and is still very popular. It is a great place to meet experienced players and learn a few things. Despite being very flat this course is very fun to play. Flat, not many hazards, homeless man living in...

2.50 star(s) Once and Done The fact that you can play disc golf here. If you are not familiar with this course, you will end up throwing at the wrong basket several times due to unclear marking. I was the only person there with my shirt on.

Review by MrNiceFella in course Wortham Trail

2.00 star(s) Wind Galore Tee pads are concrete. Hard to lose any discs. Great place to bring beginners. Very open and flat, not much challenge other than head winds on most holes, grass needs to be mowed more often, tee pads are small and restrictive. If the location is convenient it's a great place to...

Review by MrNiceFella in course Northside Christian Church DGC - Old Layout

3.00 star(s) Nice Place Clean, well maintained, multiple tee pad distances on each hole. Tee pads are excellent. Lots of trees, nice layout and easy getting around. No real elevation changes. For Houston that is not a big surprise. If you want to play multiple courses in one day this is located between two...

Review by MrNiceFella in course McDade Park - Old Layout

3.50 star(s) Clean!! Park is very clean and well maintained. 18 holes with different variety of challenges. Tee pads are nice and course is clearly marked. Not much room for power. Mostly short shots but still lots of fun.

3.50 star(s) Bored Soccer Moms Course is big, well maintained, has a nice layout, tee pads are excellent. The park is beautiful with lots of trees and a couple lakes. Some soccer Moms with nothing better to do have taken it upon themselves police the course and find out if you are a resident of Bridgeland or...

Review by MrNiceFella in course Spring Valley DGC

4.50 star(s) Greatness! Elevation changes are very hard to find in Houston but this course has them. Course is well designed, clearly marked, well kept, and has tons of holes. Tee pads are top knotch! The pro shop has mountains of discs to choose from too! Golfers are not always very courteous of disc...

4.00 star(s) Loads of Fun! Tee pads are very high quality. Course is challenging but good for all levels of players. Good mix of finesse and power. Well kept and well designed with no trouble finding your way around. Mostly wooded. I always meet new friendly people. Holes 12 & 13 stink due to the pig farm...
