    Protests Against a New Course

This thread actually has a lot of interesting and important ideas floating around. I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s thoughts on this subject. I think that it is really important to acknowledge that the protesters do have valid points. Small trees WILL be removed to clear fairways. Large trees...

    Return after surgery

I like this idea. I think the main thing is to only do A) What the Dr. allows and B) What you can do with good form I recently came off an ACL knee surgery (sustained from a basketball injury) and it was pretty traumatic. I couldn't play for months and then when I could start playing again I...

Most Dominant Disc Golfers of the Past 10 Years

Exactly. McBeth is top a 20 finisher 7 out of 10 years. 10/7 = 1.42857. McBeth's multiplier, as shown in my spreadsheet, should be about 1.4, not 1.7.

Most Dominant Disc Golfers of the Past 10 Years

 That makes more sense now. It was the rounding on the page that confused me. Just looking at the rounded numbers, the pattern didn't quite make sense, but now I get the pattern. If you miss top 20 once out of 10 years the multiplier is 1.11, twice = 1.25, thrice = 1.43 etc. Dealing...

Most Dominant Disc Golfers of the Past 10 Years

Looking for an answer from Chuck If you don't care about math or stats, just skip this post. As far as the nuts and bolts of calculating these stats go, I was a little unclear on a few things. Hopefully Chuck will see this and shoot me an answer. 1) The Multiplier: It looks like generally 0.1...

Most Dominant Disc Golfers of the Past 10 Years

I'm a big fan of statistics, so I thought that this was a nice little write up.http://www.pdga.com/most-dominant-open-men-women-past-10-years The results seemed pretty intuitive to me, indicating a pretty solid system for determining these rankings. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Did...
