It's crazy how much decriminalization has lowered the cost. 300 an ounce in 2005 and you had to know a guy, fast forward to now and you walk into a business, are treated like a customer and pay 50 bucks. Adjust that for inflation and wow.
Well how much of a good time is she really having? A couple of beers a few days a week is nothing if you're practicing and training all the time, Paige has always done that going way back to her very earliest days. I hear Ohn Scoggins has beers all the time, but nothing drastic mind you, and...
Holland is one of the nicest little towns in the whole lower peninsula, one of my favorite places to visit. I always made the trek over to Saugatuck to play, nice to know there is a second course even closer to the area.
Some courses around here have a small 6inch painted brick planted into the ground at the circle edge, just one is all it really takes to get a sense of the circle, seems like a great idea for any of you who build/design courses.
I don't believe that at all. Keep practicing. I've started practicing longer putts into circle 2 and I don't really make many of those and it's helping me be a better C1 putter.
Missing long c2 putts = more c1 putts made.
I've been saying this for years, and your experience mimics mine. There is a reason why the biggest arms are the best putters.
And I think you need a combination of strength training and practice putting. I think for the strength training I'd just go with whatever you like and tend to stick...
He did, he ended up in 2nd or 3rd, I took 7th. Decent size field. It was really, really windy out there and cold, and he putted really well given the conditions.
Either way, kudos to you for being the real deal on here, your 450 drive from the knees is absolutely sicko!
I played with a guy from Norway on my card a few weeks ago at a tourney, Harvard Sorlie. He is a really friendly dude. You guys represent yourselves well over here.
People at your day job speak/write under their real names. Most people here do not. That is the difference. All the most cordial people here either post under their real names or have revealed who they are.
I am 100% for internet anonymity in the right spaces, but I think you're way better...
Holyn is such an incredible thrower of the disc from both sides as well, if I have Evelina as 1 she's my pick for #2 and she definitely is top 10 as a putter as well. Absolutely a favorite at every event this year and Worlds.
She has to putt better, no way around it, her tee game is so elite level that she can compete but FPO is so competitive nowadays that you can't crack top 10 with mediocre (or worse) putting anymore. Holyn has always putted well. I don't think its entirely mental with Henna. I think there is...
If Evelina putts well, she's the player to beat in 2024. She's currently the best all around thrower off the tee in FPO and perhaps of all time. If she can keep the momentum going on the green, she's the number one contender to beat Kristin this year.
