Traces have been my go to straight distance driver for over a year and I’m still loving them. They fly like a reliably seasoned wraith. I’ve had wraiths more and less stable than any trace I’ve thrown. Their stability is more consistent IME.
Only plastic trace I haven’t thrown is cosmic...
I reliably get the most distance from my streamline jet. I don’t see anyone else throwing these things but they have a nice stability to get a wide hyzer flip to turn shot that still comes back enough not to turn all the way over.
I blame their lack of popularity on the name. Jet sounds way...
I have thrown a handful of star, echo, and pro. The pair of halo wraiths I picked up both seem more stable than most stock wraiths. The only ones that were comparably OS were some of the high PLH bottom stamp star wraiths
I’ve got a little less power than you but I recently looked to fill this same slot. Right now I’m rolling with a max weight halo wraith and still get good distance. I’ve heard good things about the mint discs goat too but haven’t tried one yet.
The Glitch also likes a bit of hyzer to flip up and ride. If you release with any anhyzer and too much power it’ll ride that into the ground. My best results are nice, easy, high hyzer flips.
Went to my local play it again to find a replacement Understable driver and try out a new overstable approach disc. I had planned on leaving with a sockibomb slammer or zoneos but found this razor claw 3 in the used bin for $10 and couldn’t pass it up.
First throw with it was a 150’ throw in...
The voodoo was the first putter I really clicked with. Unfortunately, it was early in my discing days and I was switching everything out left and right. I’ve been looking for a reason to ditch my current putters and pick up a pair of eraser voodoos.
I have a little less power than you but I’d say grackles are very comparable to volts. Not the super flat beefy runs of volt but more of the 8 5 -.5 2 variety. At 350’ I wouldn’t say my grackles really turn when thrown hard but they’ll hold an anny for awhile before coming out. Mine is a 174...
Pretty new to Mint but I’m loving the sublime grackle. I saw that they ran nocturnal grackles for a bit. Anyone know if they’re reliably more stable or hit and miss?
Picked up a used halo wraith today and after 1 round it seems to fit the bill in terms of flight. I got a couple mint discs at the same time and my only complaint with the wraith is the plastic is just a little slicker and doesn’t come out of the hand quite as clean as the MVP produced plastic...
Finally got a chance to try Mint discs. Picked up a sublime Grackle to fit between my old stiff champ teebird3 and an FD. Pretty much right on the money with stability but what really impressed me was the plastic and hand feel. I’ve fallen in love with almost every one piece mold produced in...
