Gold Alternate Layout Is Best
Gold Alternate layout has some variety: 4 hyzer shots, 3 anhyzer (or sidearm) shots, 2 straight shots, 2 about 300 ft, 1 over 400 ft. Open and not-so-open holes. Out-of-bounds makes it more challenging. Good Innova Discatcher baskets. Restrooms available...
Mako3 (5/5/0/0)
Mako3. Good for beginners and pros. A straight flyer, not overstable, not too understable.
Very comfortable grip. Try a weight of about 175g, not 180, unless you are throwing far.
Paul McBeth throws one and recommends it for beginners:

Very Well Done
Very large tee pads, well maintained, well designed, sense of fairways, slightly hilly, easy to find someone to play with, many players using the course. Holes are variable in length and amateur friendly, but some holes are 325-375 ft. which I like. Variety of shots is required...

Great Hills and Trees
Downhill shots, great opportunity to go hiking up and down, beautiful views from the top.
One hole (#13) punishes you for not being able to throw 350 ft. Seems to favor the 350 foot thrower a little too much. Lack of two-drive holes.
I wish I lived near this course.

Beautiful and Well Designed.
Well designed course, variety of shots, championship level holes, some two-drive holes, rolling hills, lake, green grass, just the right amount of trees, good fairways, restrooms.
Not beginner friendly, holes are on the longish side.
I heard they are putting in some...

Great Championship Course
Hills, lake, trees (but not too many), well maintained, restrooms, pro shop, 36 holes, great fairways, variety of shots, two-drive holes.
Could have a few more short holes.
Seems to cater to 400 ft throwers, 325 ft throwers will be at a disadvantage.

Great Course
Has two-drive holes, hills, trees (but not too many), has a variety of shots, water hazards, clubhouse, restrooms and more.
Some holes are too open, but that's what you get on a ball-golf course. Cost is $10 per round.

Like to hit trees?
Good exercise. There are some good holes here, about 3.
Extreme lack of fairways. Many small and large trees between the teepads and the baskets, randomly placed and too close together.
If you think that disc golf is about who is lucky enough to miss the trees, then you'll...

Where's the fairway?
Beautiful park. Holes 1, 5, 18 are good. 18 is my favorite. Restrooms available. Nice pavilion on the hill. Good parking.
Not many fairways. Trees and hills, but not much sense of fairways here. Tall grass, thick leaves, short teepads, lack of benches. Mando trees in...
DDx, D3, Bolt ...
I think the DDx, D3 and Bolt were filling the gap in the Innova line-up.
So now comes the Shryke to prevent people from buying non-Innova
discs.
The GStar Tern cannot be thrown into a wind. The GStar Boss cannot
provide distance for players who don't throw over 350...

Lose your discs here, get tick bites.
Good tee signs.
Flat terrain, trees close to the baskets (too close), course favors 350' low very accurate drives. Tees are too narrow (only 3 feet wide). Just not much fun.
Play Jones East or the Emporia Country Club course, much better.

Distance Contest Mostly
Good tee signs with distance to the basket well marked. Good concrete pads and very large. Nice benches.
Seems to be designed for 450-foot throwers.
The tree locations seemed to be random without providing real fairways. When you do find a fairway on some holes the...
