Busy park
There is a nice googlemap course map at the start of the course.
The grass is green and well maintained.
There's a portapotty by hole #1.
Holes range from 161ft to 459ft with trees generally on one side of the fairway providing a bit of challenge.
The baskets are good quality, new and...

Frustrating... Where'd the baskets go?
Some tight holes and elevation changes. Most holes are long and also require some delicate positioning between trees.
Without a map you'll be lost on this course due to some big gaps in between the baskets and the following tees. An even bigger issue is...

Personal favorite
Excellent variety of holes with short and long throws.
A great course to improve your accuracy since you don't have to blow your arm out on every hole.
Half the course is wooded with narrow fairways and the other half is open but with enough hazards to keep it interesting.
The...

What's that smell?
The grass is well maintained and the baskets are in great shape.
Unless you toss a frisbee into the water beside #6 you shouldn't have any trouble with lost discs.
A forgiving course for new players with all that room on the fairways.
Hole #'s 4, 6, 7, 12, 14 and 18 make use...

landfill
Holes 19 to 27 have a nice flow to them with elevation changes and challenging throws through or around evergreen trees. One scary throw over a dirty duck pond that gathers one hundred discs over the course of a year.
The course is built on top of a giant garbage dump landfill site...
The Surge probably goes about the same distance as my Innova Valkerie but the Surge has that reliable flight path. I throw my Valkerie with a lot of snap that makes it jump right and keep drifting that way for most of its flight but then comes back a bit at the end. I don't know if it's me or...
useful discs
I use a glow sabre that I throw consistently 320 ft RHBH. When thrown 6 to 8 feet off the ground it will only fade 8 ft to the left. In comparison I tried a Surge last week and thrown the same way it went 360ft with the same 8 ft fade.
I found the buzz to be similar to the...

Short but sweet
This is a brilliantly laid out short technical course.
There isn't much room for error on approach shots, due to the number of trees in the way, but the closeness of the pin will make for tons of birdie chances if you have good control.
Strategy and execution will reward you...

a practice course
Easy to find the holes.
Well maintained.
With only two or three holes having any bushes you shouldn't lose a disc.
A good course for new players due to the lack of technically difficult holes.
Very popular park for picnickers and children playing on climbers or in soccer games...

a favourite
Every hole feels different. There are pins in front, on top and at the bottom of hills. There are both long holes requiring strong arms and short tight technical holes through trees with lots of birdie potential.
Most holes are naturally sheltered from the rain.
Well maintained...

Nice park, ok course
Good variety of left and right curving holes.
A good course for working on your short game.
A nice place for a day-trip with 12 km of hiking trails, canoe rentals, lake fishing and sheltered picnic areas.
You can't see the basket from most of the tees so you have to scope...

a nice college diversion
This course was very well maintained and it's hard to lose a disc there.
A large map by hole #1 gives you the course layout so you won't waste your time searching for tees or pins.
The shots are not too difficult but are fun and still challenging enough for repeated...
