Do you read reviews or just give them thumbs up?

I will admit, it has taken me some time to get use to the new format. It has gotten me more involved on the message board though. I do like a lot of things better. The new owners have done a good job of listening to us old timers and have made things better once you learn the site.

    2024 Reviewer of the Year

It's not always about quantity, quality is key. I always like your reviews. I will take what every you are able to produce. I have been very fortunate that I have been able to play all the courses I have in the last 8 years. Looks like I might have some more time as my manager is still...

Only 9 holes What is it with Houston and good church courses. I really had no expectations when i went...

Good Tee signs Cement tee pads Like new DD Vet basket Bomber shots and Wooded Technical shots The open holes are VERY open Houston flat course that tends to hold water after a rain What a great memorial for Eric Paddy. Basket for hole #6 @ Jimmy Porter in Carrollton TX. (yea, this is right behind my store) This and hole 8 have always been bad about being muddy around the basket for as long as the course has been in it's current configuration.

1.50 star(s) Small Pitch and Putt (Now) has cement tee pads Course map on Kiosk VERY short Little family friendly course at the end of a street. Very small park with a bunch of large trees. The course makes the best use it could of this small space. There are some tree's to throw around to make it...

Review by Pizza God in course Hill Country Fellowship

3.00 star(s) Decent Church yard course Decent signage New DD Vet baskets Cement tee pads Not a lot to work with so mostly open course This course more of an Advance level course. It's too long for kids or new players. This means this course was built for disc golfers. But it's not a championship course...

(Hence the "Beast" Mando's to make the course dogleg (not a fan) Mostly open park style course with 2 sets of tee pads for each basket. Barling Beast...

Do you read reviews or just give them thumbs up?

I tend to only read reviews of courses I have played. I do read some of courses I am about to play if I have time. Most of the time I am going to play it no matter what. But there have been times I found good information in reviews. I will click like on a review if I either enjoyed reading...

Disc retriever with the suction-cup ball at the end...

I had the poll and purchased a suction cup ball on Amazon. I too had to learn it works best after it's wet, but man, it is a heck of a lot easier than trying to hook a disc. I may try washing it with soap like Bill said. All I did was poke a hole and sticked it on the hook. It did fall off...
