Had a tough time on 8C yesterday. I was in total safari mode but managed to save bogey on a 50ish ft. putt out of the jungle short left of the basket (see pic). 9 has really turned into a nice beast of a hole. The bridge they added several months ago crossing the small creek to the C pin was...
The improvements at this course just keep on coming. Recently, steps were installed between holes 7 and 8. The stretch between those two holes was always a bit treacherous as you must descend a steep hill with a bunch of rocks and roots underfoot just off of 7's green. Kudos to the folks who...
Got a Steady Peach (176g) for my birthday. Had it in my bag yesterday during a round to test out - never 'tested' it but threw it when it counted and it helped me get par the two times I threw it on holes that are usually frustrating to me.
The first hole I threw it on, I only used it because...
Got a Max Disctance retriever w/ the suction cup for my brother for Christmas and he loves it. As we found out today, it is also invaluable to get your plastic out of those nasty pricker/sticker bushes without bleeding to death!
You ever forget to pick up a disc from its lie as you play through a hole, then realize several holes later it is missing? That is just what I did today with my beloved Fission Hex - my favorite mid to date.
The course was just a bit too busy and the hole I was sure I Ieft it on was just...
As the Champions Cup approaches, I can't help but think about the IDGC. Any updates on work going on at the three courses? Is the Champions Cup still on track to return there in 2025? Enquiring minds want to know, lol.
Here's one I'm sure some of you have seen happen but not that often. Hole 8 (I think) at Greystone Woods in Morris Plains, NJ. My brother threw a red Westside Pine off the tee and at about 120ish feet, found it wedged in a tree about 15 feet up.
Thanks for the replies. I have had no field work since I found the Servo. However, I have thrown it as an extra ( you know what I mean - course is sorta empty - you make an extra 'practice' throw after your real one - did this a few times with this Servo I found). Anyway, today I had a par 4...
Both - quirky cards! Love it. My name is Paul. My brother is Dave. We often play as a foursome with our friends - also named Paul... ...and Dave. Makes for some fun rounds.
Lost my Eternal Jackalope off the fairway today after mis-released. While searching (and failing to find) I found a 174g Neutron Servo with no contact info on it. I will peruse this thread again, but was wondering what anybody thinks of this disc - never have thrown one before. One reason I...
Ahh yes, a fine local course that has gone through changes over the years and is now one of the best in the area. I like getting my butt whipped so we usually end up throwing red tees. Lol

I've seen them in place and I tried one while we were at a tee of a long-ish hole at a local course that was in C- pos. for that day. We were waiting for a group to finish out the hole so I figured I'd take a look to kill time. I can see these being useful for a bunch of golfers including noobs...
I am not totally schooled on his current bag, but maybe it was a KC Pro Aviar - also a 2-speed. I find it hard to believe he is suddenly allowed to expand to Lone Star Discs let alone a Bluebonnet putter. But, who knows?
