Well we are playing WR Jackson a lot this year. Many of our best players cannot go because we are mostly seniors or grad students that have to teach classes. Singles is the most important single round now they do not drop the lowest score. Jackson is a beast of a course. Good luck really man...
Good job on fundraising. Looks like I am going to have to crush you at Nationals this year... :P JK
I am the VP of the ETSU Disc Golf Team. Have you played any tournaments in the South yet?
I think the improvement from day 1 to the last day was great. They should have filmed some B/C-Tiers before they took this on, but that is a lesson learned. I hope to see some improvement, but I will say that this is far from a polished product.
Compared to yesterday it was like watching Monday Night Football.. The quality was much better, they just need to get some actual cameramen and not some D.A. that thinks a zoom is the best thing since sliced bread.
What if we got 18 cameras on tripods and covered the tournament that way? they are currently using 4 whats another 14? like 36,000 USD that is not too bag right? hahaha
I have seen place that people put those industrial rubber kitchen mats at the front of the tee box where people plant their foot. This causes more grip in the front and the boxes from being chewed up as bad. Just a thought. You can get 4 3ft x 3ft squares for like 60 bucks.
I would take a few weeks off and see if it gets better, if not go to the doctor. I have to take about 2 or 3 weeks off during the summer to let my arm heal up. When I come back I have about 30-50ft added to my throws. A healthy rested arm will do wonders for your game.
I used to have a buddy in college that I helped with filming (Huge YouTube channel) and he would put tape over the zoom button when I first started helping him. He would always say "This is the the foolproof way to get a good shot" always calling me the fool. He wasn't wrong btw.
I just flipped on the coverage, just because your camera can zoom 300ft doesn't mean you should. They are zooming too much and that causes the lightest of movements to look like a earthquake. I think that is the problem.
