Review by Safbo in course Gonzales DGC

3.00 star(s) Concrete tees and tee markers. Mix of play through light trees and rolling hill or two. Park is rather narrow with streets on both sides. When I was there they had over 3 in of rain so it was wet and in the low areas real wet. Nice course for beginners or for a quick round. Has a few nice longer...

Review by Safbo in course Chestnut Ridge - The Ravine

2.50 star(s) Course is among the older ones in WNY, so is has the status of being good. Good thumber, tomahawk, roller, etc course, being as wooded as is it is but mind the ravine! Again course is older and could use some repairs. Also can be confusing in the back half to find your way from hole to hole...

Review by Safbo in course Como Lake Park

4.00 star(s) Best course in WNY for intermediate and beginer players. Course is laid out well uses natural terrain to the fullest. Good mix of technical and big air shots through out the course. Course can be played-fast if need to. None really, just remember to bring floating disk and or a retriever cause...

Review by Safbo in course Black Diamond DGC

3.50 star(s) A very technical course with a mix of play. You need a variety of skills to play the course in par, if your lucky. Terrain plays a major factor here with down hill, up hill, and heavily wooded shots making up the majority of play. Some water but mostly near baskets so be careful on the...

Review by Safbo in course Joseph Davis State Park - Green

4.00 star(s) If you like Huge air and fairly open course this is it. Plus 27 holes, makes it a local standout. Several ace able holes makes it even better. Concrete tees keep you out of the mud when it's wet. Bring your throwing arm because the only other local course that has as much open air shots is beaver...

Review by Safbo in course Angry Apple DGC

2.50 star(s) Let down Not many. Other than new baskets and fairly well marked out course that's about it. Disc eater. Course starts out nice and turns ugly fast, hence the angry apple name. For a pay to play state park course a lot good be done to improve this course. From basic trimming to basket location...

Review by Safbo in course Beaver Island State Park

4.00 star(s) Best state park course in the western ny area. Tons of big air. Nice mix of flat and hill shots. Wind coming in off water plays a factor on more than one hole. All in my second favorite local course. None Course is laid out well and tees are marked pretty good.
