Thank you for that. So longer=more distance, right? Thank you for the advice, I may change my putters. Just expensive to load up on those, at least from my local retailer who sells them for $17 a pop.
Hoping someone can help.
I put with Soft Wizards and I like to upshot with my E-Wizards. I've seen these discs and like the look they have. I didn't really check them out other than hold one. I didn't check for a bead or anything. Which one will fly closest to a soft wizard? Which will fly more...
In my car I'ves used them as a writing board when I'm at the bank and as a food tray sometimes. We've used them for cones at the football field where the players have to change direction.
A couple years ago on my B-Day we had Sunday league. I wanted to get on the scratcher card (CTP gets scratcher on certain holes) but forgot to buy some. So one of the guys gave me a few for my birthday. I won almost every scratcher hole that day. And people were parking their shots too, and I...
Well, I was sick last weekend. Took my arthrits meds and some thera-flu before the round. Needless to say, think all I could do was drive. Upshots and putts were absolutely horrible, no consistency, never got a feel for my releases. Shot 5 over when I average par to 2 under.
Something is wrong...
Picking up some good stuff here. Will practice in my yard a bit this weekend too.
I think I need to go to the course and practice some putts that have elevation changes. We have a few on one course, and a lot more on the other course, and I think I need to be more comfortable when I need to...
First off, thanks to everyone for the input. I will do my best to implement it.
Dan? This is all really good stuff. Indecision does come into play when I usually mess up. I'm flip flopping in my head how to run the putt, how to release, and sometimes just putting while still trying to decide...
I think I'm going to go with a Cro for a less overstable mid, and perhaps a coyote for a really straight mid that I can get a little more D on than my wizards. Like I said, we have a mountain course, and I get my wizards to go right down the middle, they just die out too early for me. Need...
The good: Shot personal best 8 birds at sunday league, finally won a playoff
The Bad: Only finished 2 down, tied for third.
The Ugly: Started out 4 over on the first 6 holes
What does it take to take it to that next level. I swear I have a 8 down in me somewhere, just need to put it all together. The other day I shot 8 birds, but also took two doubles and two bogeys to finish 2 down. I have yet to have a bogey free round in league. I've gone with 1 bogey many times...
I second what Tigel said. I'm going to go scope out some packs tomorrow just to see. My boy is telling me to get a Revo pack anyway, just to have the extra room for towels and other misc stuff. Kind of makes sense for tournies, but I only go to like 2 per year.
I'm thinking of just ordering a roll cage and putting it in a regular back pack. I've kind of cut down my discs and don't need that full size bag I was using before. I liked my quads but sold them with my old bag, so now I want a new one and want to just go with back pack straps instead.
Anyone...
