Historic course with super friendly locals
Lots of creative looks at a wide variety of shots.
I enjoyed seeing the location of old pin positions and hearing some of the course history from knowledgable locals.

Trivial front, but oh so complex back
Open but challenging front nine. Lots of potential birdies, few easy. Extremely challenging back nine. Several long and complicated holes that play beautifully.

Mixed bag
Beautiful views. Wonderful use of hilly terrain and water hazards.
Much of the course was unplayable because of overcrowding from picnickers. Skipped some holes altogether. Others, I had to play a layup drive and then throw an approach.
Don't go on weekends or holidays.
