Short fun approach & putt
A fun short 9-hole course in the middle of Fairfield Bay.
There is frequent park traffic to be careful of.
We had a great time playing the course during off-hours (early AM)...all holes were short drives, there was some R-L, L-R, uphill and downhill, some neat basket...

Very good layout and length
Excellent 18-hole layout requiring a variety of shot choices.
Great signage, pads and baskets; a very well designed course. A mix of some 200+ ft holes all the way up to some long par 5s. In a county park, but almost never influenced by walking trails or roads...some...

Nicely designed 9-hole on County Club property
Lots of elevation changes, layout was well thought, great signage and baskets.
$3 pp to play for the day; alternate basket placements (July 2023) added strokes to the score; some wood chip tee boxes were tough to negotiate.
A pleasure to play (2x)...

A surprisingly great course and a long walk
Beautiful course, long and scenic and sometimes wooded, but not unreasonably difficult. Lots of elevation changes and tree obstacles to test your shot making.
Not really a con for me, but you need to reserve 3 hrs to play this one...there is a lot of...

Tight fairways with Rough rough...
Nice variety of holes and shots; scenic and rarely crowded.
A great afternoon activity if you are here at the campground.
Some very tight fairways, and lots of unfriendly thorny plants and dense vegetation if you throw off.

What a treat...a fantastic destination course
Beautifully designed 18-hole course cut into rolling KY forests. Course is scenic and quiet, 90% of the course is in the trees. Lots of narrow L and R shots and low ceilings and variety, and elevation changes, but the lines are very well defined and...

Long friendly convenient town course
Convenient location in Myrtle Beach park, beginner-friendly with some long holes and a little shot making.
Lots of park activity (cars, bikes, walkers, picnickers) was pretty close to fairways or play areas. One of the fairways was 500' of blacktop down the...

Great park course!
Most holes are wooded and scenic; flight lines are open and the rough was not much of a penalty if you threw off or knicked a tree. Great baskets. course was relatively well marked. Some shot-making needed for L and R bending fairways. A few dog-legs and interesting pin...

Good local park course to learn the sport
Hats off to Overton for adding a 9-hole course to their Town Park. Short, but nice mountain scenery.
Unmarked tees, and no map available that I know of. Most drives are close to picnickers, playground, shelters, and ball diamond.
We were in the area and...

Great Park-Course
We really liked this course...lots of elevation change, good layout and the need for lots of shot-making. Great tee pads, baskets, and tee signage, pretty easy to follow without a map. Built off away from the park visitors, so you're not throwing over picnics.
Brand new course...
