i abhor the the tomahawk, but my bro throws it all the time. he prefers really beat up DX fairway drivers such as a leopard, cheetah, or even a gazelle. the crappier the disc, the better. you may not get max distance from such a disc, but he can drop them w/in 10 feet of the cage inside 270...

Pro Firebird - overstable for headwind or dog-legged fairways
X XL - great downwind driver, holds a straight line, light and domey... so it really flies
DX Eagle - heavy, very beat up, will s-curve or hold a long anyhyzer line in moderate headwind

i rarely throw a roller and, when i do, it's usually disastrous. but, there are a few goods resources on the net for technique info.

Fun
Good signage, logical progression from one hole to the next, grounds are very well-kept throughout the year, central location and short length make it great for squeezing in a round in less than an hour, little-to-no chance of losing a disc, bathroom and water fountain facilities.
