I’m going to be in the Russellville area Sunday and Monday. The number of courses has increased since I played Old Post in 2017. I’m looking to get advice on the best courses to play, and which one might be good to view the eclipse on Monday. Thanks in advance if you can give me a lead.

Where the Deer and the Disc Golfers Play
This place is beautiful. The layout has a good flow and variety of distances, shot shapes and plenty of woods and elevation. Tees are concrete and the signage is great. Multiple pins on many holes, with good Innova baskets.
Following a considerable...

Holy Toledo!
The Lakeside course is as good if not better than the Hillside 18. It's also long, with plenty of trees, elevation change and as the name suggests even more water in play. It has long and short concrete tee pads, and the chains still have that new DISCatcher smell. The signs are...

Get Zwolle!!
North Toledo bend has two fresh 18 hole courses. I played Hillside first, and thought it is done nicely. Two sets of concrete pads with signs on most, if not all holes. Brand new baskets, and interesting terrain.
The woods are thick. You won't find any wide open airspace, but...

Sweatin' to the Goldie
18 holes with most of the fairways consisting of well maintained lawns. They're usually lightly wooded, but a few (5-8, 17 & 18) have dense growth and slight elevation change. There is a small creek that was flowing after significant rains the day before, it's in play on...

Purp Walk
The Purple Course at Ft. Buhlow DGC is a pretty nice 18 hole layout with tee signs and roomy concrete tees. A few woodsy holes, and water is in play for a stretch. Minor elevation change in spots. Some of the open holes play into, out of and around the woods nicely, and the grass was...

Diggin' into the Dillo
The Flying Armadillo is an excellent disc golf destination. Awesome pro shop, a food truck with good eats, and plenty of space to cool off and relax in between rounds. Staff and pets were all super cool.
The Big Course is a challenging 18 hole layout with multiple tees...

The Real 'Dillo
Who would have thought? I finally have a better thing to associate armadillos with than belly up roadkill holding empty beer cans. This place is pretty amazing. Aside from a killer pro shop, food truck, 4 story gazebo/watch tower, and camping onsite the Flying Armadillo has 36...

I Threw is Through the Grapevine
It's a cool property, and they make their own vino right there. There aren't many spots where you're likely to land one among the grapevines. A little bit of elevation change, and some water in play. It is pretty long and a lot of holes are fairly open. There...
