Assuming you're coming out of West Yellowstone, I'd take the detour through Pocatello to play Bengal Ridge. As mentioned above, you're probably also passing through Freeman Park in Idaho Falls.

Fun little course
Nice elevation changes throughout.
Well marked, nice signage.
Trash/Recycling every ~3 holes.

Mostly open, only two technical shots.
Overall a fun course. I don't think it could be called extreme in any sense of the word. It does make good use of the elevation changes...

Great mix of holes with a good balance of long and short as well as fh/bh-friendly shots.
2 Tees & 2 Pins for every hole, course difficulty ranges from easier/beginner (Silver>Silver) to very challenging (Gold>Gold) so you can show up with a group of beginners or pro's and have a great time...
