Played Idlewild. Great course, but not what I expected given all the hype on this site about it. Technically - Rosedale's Down Under course is way tougher! I was most dissappointed in the lack of hole variety. Long story short i had a great round, but it is not top 10 quality in my opinion. Would have loved to play it with you though! Hope all is well with you bro!!!
Just checked out your site. Great pics! Keep 'em coming. I carry a camera on the course, but I think you inspired me to look closer. Thanks.
in Chicago today on business & disc golf of course! playing Central Park & Madison Meadow before I catch a flight back to KC tonight! Hope all is well with you and the fam!
hey bro - do me a favor and check out my reviews on Rosedale Top course, Waterworks and Jackson Park 18. I'd love to have your feedback from a seasoned DG'r on what is helpful and what is irrelevant. I am on a rampage this year/month already with 5 new courses played and 207 holes played :) I also have a detailed review in the links section for Jackson Park and Rosedale Upper - got the scoop from Olorin and have vowed to do this type of review on every course I play. Should be a great long term help for this site.

I'm looking ot hit about 16-20 new courses this summer as part of some boy scout trips with Keaton. It looks like I may get back down to Tucson again this May, so we may try and head upt o Pheonix to play a course or two! YOU HAVE ME HOOKED!! I am seriously contemplating entering a tournament or two this year here in KC - we'll see.
Luke - played Rosedale Down Under today - my first "technical" course! shot a 56...... you would have been proud of your protege.... what a great round - I must say I found out today I am much more of a finesse disc golfer than a distance player. Almost bagged an ace
Luke. The pictures on your website are beautiful. Very cool. I only wish I had seen them sooner, I might have made the effort to get the heck out of Madison and do some small town touring.

There is a book. Its called "Trout Fishing in America". Its kinda old and its not really about trout fishing. Its more about making a reality. The authors name is Richard Brautigan. Check it out at your local library.
Harry Myers DGC (Rockwall,TX), Oak Grove (Pasdena,CA) just for the nostalgic feeling, La Mirada (La Mirada,CA), Pease Park (TX), and maybe the best I have played would be DeLaveage Park (Santa Cruz, CA). The reason I asked you was because you played so many.Definitely want to check out the courses you listed. I am not near as diverse as you but hope to be someday. I would also say that some courses used to be my favorites but over time they have changed and are not what they used to be.Been playing ten years and have really seen things change. It's a great game and really a great way to stop and smell the roses so to speak. Thanks for the input and good luck in your future disc golf trips!
