Yes! The Gem City. My first tournament. Finished DFL and had to drive back to Indy. Almost stopped and threw my bag off an overpass I was so upset. But I didn't.
I think they used to (still?) do a spring tournament at Belmont called the Gem City Classic. That would be my top guess. TD may have been Holly Williams, but he's not doing much of that any more. Let me dig a little... aha! Yup: Gem City Challenge 4 on 3/23/13.
Well Sire, you know all those "grow the sport" guys? They've gone and done it. New courses, blossoming popularity. The golden age awaits! :)
Gonna be hitting up Rockville Lake in a couple of w/e's!

I saw you uploaded the pictures there...looks and sounds purty good! :)
They say that age is all in your mind. The trick is keeping it from creeping down into your body. :p
    Happy B-day!
If you Google "hole details" "149" "print scorecards", you can easily find holes of any given length. Replace 149, of course.
    Thanks man! :)

I highly encourage you to make that trip. I'd even meet you there sometime. It's an above average course that could easily develop into a full four, if not already one.

It feels a bit Honey Bear-ish in parts, and a bit Pieradise-y in others, but overall does a great job of establishing its own identity.
Would you ever be interested in meeting up with me and Jcrab66 someplace? Maybe France Park or one of the Peru courses?
I must let you know that I am still laughing about your comment in the Landfill. I have tears running down my face and my side hurts from laughing at your comment about working on the 2012 . I needed that laugh. Thank you
