Interesting note. houck apparently only designed live oak park as a 9 hole course, which means that someone else must have added in another 9, perhaps that is why parts of it are so one dimensional. he also designed west guth. Also, he designed a course in houston, bear branch, which is just ok. i think hes a solid deisgner, just not as good as chuck kennedy or Timmy Gill
Thanks for the info. I got the avatar from the last FIFA world cup website. I guess it is hard to get another sport real popular when soccer is in everyones blood. = )
since the custom stamping is cheap to do, you said, it would be perfect for prizes.
I think maybe when we see what the prize pack is in Corpus christi, we can split off 3 discs from it: 2 for the doubles winners, and 1 for closest to pin. The total order cost came to $320, which is perfect since I got 16 player packs.
Yup!! Check Rufino Tamayo. I was thinking that Custom Stamped Discs would be great prizes to give for the winners of the closest to pin and Doubles Tournament.
For Doubles, we could make prize discs that have the logo, and say JEFE DE CASTIGADOR 2008. So its like those guys get braggin rights until the next JEFE DE CASTIGADOR torneo. Maybe closest to pin award can be some kind of putter, like a Omega SS, with a custom stamp on it, or something.
