Yeah I just keep it for putting practice with my other Anodes. I have 3 and still like to drive with it once in a while. Doesn't have a spot in the bag though. I have 3 Mediums. Yeah there is a lot of wear on it.. I got about 600-620 throws with it. Drives and Putts. It nailed some brick walls, trees, and I also did like 10 rollers with it. The disc turned into a Ion and slowly became very understable.. Then I sanded it back into an Anode.. Too bad it is scratched so grip sucks.
Sorry, just saw your message. I really like it so far. I've only had it for about 2 weeks, so I'm still getting used to it. For me, it fills the slot between my mids and my putters. It's Star plastic.
the polaris is a great straight shooter, and the quantum plastic is nice and gummy..great disc.
Last year I fell in love with a 165 Star TeeBird. I had one of my sweetest ever aces with it followed by the best drive I have ever seen any one have on Hole 17 at BRP. I picked up a 178 Gold Line River on a whim but at first I hated it because I was throwing it too hard and it had too much lateral movement, left to right and then hopefully back to the left again. For whatever reason I kept it in the bag and kept throwing it. Suddenly one day it clicked and I have rarely thrown that TeeBird since.

I also found an Opto River and found that it could take a little more power than the GL and maintain the same flight. I am thinking of switching over to the Opto but it has been a long winter. When wet I cannot throw any of my Optos. I am hoping I do not have to relearn how to throw the River once the snow is gone.
I stay on the west end of DFW, kind've towards weatherford. I'm like 5 minutes from the Z
