I haven't done tourneys in 2-3 years. Just burned out on that whole scene. So instead of paying $30 + gas/food to try and win back funny money (more plastic I don't need), I've invested that money in tanks of gas. And I'm ten-times happier for it.

Accounting is pretty far-removed from mapping. :-) Though like I said, it's not our mapping business that requires me to travel, as much as my ability to work from anywhere with electricity and internet that allows me to travel. Not to mention Becky, the girls and I getting involved with a housesitting service (https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/su/iRgUWgSK) that lets us show the girls different parts of the country/world at a fraction of the cost of needing hotels. That's a GREAT deal!

Hey there!

Sorry...I never received notification of you sending me a message here ~6 months ago.

It's interesting with our company...as we don't really need to travel much for work! Rather, we CAN travel during work...can work from anywhere with electricity and internet. It helps me on the sales front, as I can meet people in their offices and "educate" myself about their campus, city, etc. via first-hand, boots-on-the-ground experience. But we don't really "need" to travel much. I just like to.

Got in 226 unique (new) courses played in 2014, and I've gotten 127 new courses played so far in 2015. 503 overall. Got to play 15 courses outside the US so far this year too...one in The Netherlands, one in France, and 13 in British Columbia. So much fun! Be nice if I could just travel and play DG...but those darned bills don't pay themselves.

What do you do for work? We don't really hire much, but you never know. Thanks!
