Hey man, too bad you didn't check the "course guides" section of the Eagle County Fairgrounds page. I could have easily shown you around the course.
I agree that its hard to follow for a first timer and I'm almost certain that you played it wrong if you feel that most of the holes were short. I can guarantee you that is incorrect (unless you have a cannon for an arm).
