Hawk...you still come on here? I was going to tell you to come to NAD on may 5 (sat) for World's biggest DG weekend. Be there @ 8:30, hope you can make it!
Sure Tim, let me know. Hey, nice job on your first ace on 13 at NAD! Jeez... I'd been playing for like 12 years before I got my first one, and I still only have 2.
Hello Tim, Thanks for the offer! I don't know why we don't have better signage over there. I think vandalism can be more of a problem there and it's frustrating when you try to improve something and others tear it down. VanZee being 9 holes is small enough to find your way, (except for your 1st time!) But we are always looking for pro-active people eager to help with our work parties to maintain our existing courses. We also have family-friendly random doubles at NAD park you might be interested in. It's Sat. morn at 9 sharp, but will change to Sun. morn. when daylight savings time ends in a couple weeks.I don't mind partnering up with you if you want to check it out. Also a couple of our board members are geocachers! Send me a message if your interested! Monty
Hello Hawk...Welcome to DGCR and to disc golf! I read your reviews of NAD and VanZee and I just wanted you to know that the reason you couldn't find hole 5 basket at VanZee is because it was stolen last week. I'm a member of the West Sound Disc Golf Assn., the local club.We do all the maintenance on existing courses and construction of new courses.I'm not sure when we will be able to replace that basket. If you're looking to meet other disc golfers of all abilities in the Kitsap area, we are always looking for new members. Go to WSDGA.org. Happy golfing! Monty
