    Hey Scarpfish,

I noticed some photos you uploaded of the Jones course in Emporia.

I played the GBO a few years ago and I remember being impressed
with the graphics and photos on the tee signs.

Do you have any close up photos of the tee signs from that course?

We're redoing our tee signs here in Toronto and I would like
to use the Jones tee signs as an good example.

If you can email a jpg my address is

    [email protected]

    Thanks, Dave.
Every time I see your Avatar I wanna watch The Big Bang Theory & I just assume your Sheldon so I take your word as truth :D
What's going on? I saw that you had been reviewing some of the new OKC area courses. Looks like there's gonna be some new stuff in northern OK soon. There a few new nine holers around here, and one extinct course that with hopefully rise from the dead here soon.

I may be in the process of moving to (or closer to) Wichita this Summer. We'll see how things play out.
Just throwing you a hello! Been out here in Oklahoma for the last week, played 18 new courses so far. Next time I come out, I'm going to try to hit some more up your way. Maybe we can catch another round together sometime this year.
Sakauna pines is just on a tight leash. All the baskets are in but you gotta know people. Too many careless "burners" out there on the front range keep it closed to the public. I played it in November.
Hey MF, this was at Memorial Park in Ottumwa where I almost walked off without my Buzzz. Almost lost a couple of discs at Wildcat as well, but I found them.
Okay, thanks for the info about Inman. I must have been there during the changeover. There were only one and a half baskets there when I arrived so maybe they had pulled them and were working on them. I did register for the Carey Park tourney. Thanks for the help.
    Hi Dave,

After I saw Inman marked extinct, I went out there to check it out. There were some changes to it, and some signage missing, but it was still intact, so I had Timg remove the tombstone. Its never going to be great, but its playable.

I don't know who did the discs for the Carey Park tourney. I will not be going to either that event or Tick Ranch, as I am going to Kansas City for the night. Josh, the tournament director I think is going to do a good job. I would encourage you to come up and try it out. It should be relatively easy going and with an afternoon start, you don't have to get up early.

I don't think that Timg uploaded those photos of Carey. I think someone else uploaded them, and due to some complications with the file upload (likely too large) he has to do some resizing to make them work, so it looks as though the upload is credited to him. There are several courses in the directory that have photos like that.
First off I must say my son and I have admired your work for more than a year now. It inspired him to review and upload pictures and a map of Riverlawn.
Last spring I had Inman tombstoned after I went there to play, but I see it is not tombstoned now. Do you know anything about this? Is it really up again?
Are you the Scott that did the design on the discs for the Cary Park tourney coming up March 24? If so it looks like you'll not be attending. Going to Tick Ranch instead? Also, how is it that Timg came to upload pics of your home course?
I'm thinking of going to the Carey Park tourney. Any reason why I should or shouldn't?
    Thanks - RaiderDave
Sean, I'm out in Central KS actually. About as close to me as you're going to get is when you pass through Salina. If you're interested in stopping at Thomas, I can perhaps head up there for a round, but I'll need a timeline of when you're arriving. It's about an hour trip for me.

Even on weekdays, Rosedale can be very busy. Even Water Works has less traffic. If you're playing in the afternoon and parking in town there for the night, I suppose you'll have time.

    Have a safe trip.
Damn dude, I've been trying to keep up with your miles thrown this year. I hurt my shoulder and cut way back on my play for a month, and haven't been able to catch back up. I play a pretty obsessive amount of dg, too! I'm going to be in KC the 30th on my way to Colorado. Looking to play Waterworks and Rosedale. It's a Wed., so the crowds shouldn't be too bad. Let me know if you're free for a round! -Sean
glad i got to play a round with you the other day, its good to disc with a new person every now and then. I ended up finding my disc by the way, along with an uninked westside king! pretty lucky (wish some of that would have rubbed off on my terrible putting for the round) have a good one and let me know if you are in the area again.
    Hey Dave,

I got over the 200 course mark on June 7 (in Norman, OK no less!). I'm at 205 now and have nine days off from work. I am headed to Colorado and eventually Nebraska, (and maybe a little Iowa if I can negotiate a way across the Missouri river) to add some more.

Speaking of Norman, you have a couple of new ones to check out in the OKC area.

    Noble DGC, Noble, OK
    Wild Horse Park, Mustang, OK

We've got a couple of new ones up here too.
Hey! how you been? Play anything new lately?

I'm heading down to nerdapalooza in Orlando FL next week and I'm planning on hitting a couple 'NEVER BEFORE PLAYED" courses.

Thought I'd check in a say hi. I don't have a school date yet, but I'm planning on going sometime after the first of the year. When I do, I'm going to give you a holler and see if you want to play some more of those Kansas courses.

    Throw long and prosper.

    Heathen
Glad we got to meet up. Also glad we got a couple rounds in because the weather today isn't looking good.

Have a safe trip back to Florida.
I had a great time discing with you today. Next time I'm this way, I'll definitely give you a a holler.
Sounds like a plan. We can hit the short layouts on both courses to save time. That and I have an excuse to hit Five Guys when were done. See you Sunday.
