Twin Creeks is certainly a putter course. Head about a mile south of there and you will find Willow Stream. The first hole is uphill 390' if he threw his putter there, kudos to him LOL! There are some short ones at Willow, but overall itsbetter than average variety and hole design than other 9 holers in the area. Adler is certainly the best option, for me Willow Stream and Keller are tied for second.
If I don't have a lot of time it's either Willow Stream or Twin Creeks in Buffalo Grove. Careful with Willow Stream, after 6 it gets really crowded and slow moving. Twin Creeks is a dinky little course, but good if you are cramped for time or daylight. I have never waited there. I also really like Keller Park in Deerfield and Adler Park in Libertyville.
