I'm one of old dudes on this site. I actually built the first permanent disc golf course in the Northwest way, way back in 1978. Drifted away from the game. Got back into it when my son started playing. Now with DGCR, I'm passionate about playing as many courses as possible.
Other courses I have played:
Fircrest DGC - Fircrest, WA (9) The first permanent course in the Pacific Northwest.
Point Defiance-Object Course-Tacoma, WA
Woodland Park-Object Course-Seattle, WA
Fircrest Par Three Golf Course, Fircrest, WA. Ball golf course used for Fircrest Disc Golf Championship Tourney -1978.
Bob's Disc Golf - Tacoma, WA (18) The first basket course in the Pacific Northwest.
Hagar's Full Sail Disc Golf Course -Troutdale, OR
Jumanji 27 Hole Layout - Four Mound in Spokane used for Lilac Open 2011
My ACES:
1) 1992 Ft. Steilacoom Park, WA # 9 275'
2) 2001 Riverside Blue Course, WA # 5 244'
3) 2009 Fewell Park, South Carolina # 6 65'

Hey Tracy, glad to hear from you and that you're still enjoying your travels.
Nope, haven't been to Spain. I'll have to take a look if there's a similar username running around Europe.
Yep, playing a lot locally with my buddy Troy. Still working the 9 to 5 (er, 7:30 to 3:30 I guess), so not a lot of road trips lately myself. Take care, safe travels and many, many more years of healthily enjoying life!
Hearty congratulations on playing >1000 courses! What a great achievement. Plus you also have over 5000 thumbs up for your great reviews! I always enjoy your perspective on courses. Keep cruisin!
Tracy - Congrats on reaching 1000+ courses. I have enjoyed your reviews over the past few years as I have started playing again as we travel the country in our RV. I began playing back in 1978, mostly having to make up courses at ball parks and schools. I lived in Hood River, OR for seven years, then have been nearly full time living in our motorhome since 2012. We spend most of the summer in your neck of the woods on the Kitsap Peninsula near Kingston, WA. I've played maybe 300 courses or so, but haven't recorded them all on DGCR. I also usually won't try out a new one unless its at least a 3.0 minimum rating, so I've passed by a number of easy pick ups on the road because they didn't entice me. It's been nice to have consistent ratings from you to read about the courses before I visit. Thanks and maybe we can get a round or two in next summer when I'm back up in the Tacoma area.
I want to personally congratulate you for playing 1000 courses and also welcome you to the 1000 Course Club, although I'm sure you hit #1000 a while back, since DGCR doesn't have all the old courses you played back in the day.
I've always enjoyed your fantastic course reviews and it's a pleasure to have met you along our travels.
I see that you're canvassing Vermont lately and was wondering when you plan to pass thru the Albany NY area. Totally jealous of your HUGE Courses played list.
Hit me up when/if you're headed to play Joralemon, i would be honored to show another 30+ year DG vet around my home course.
Not that I think you'd want to subject yourself to Blue Lake again, but you should take a look at it now if you're in Portland. All of that rough is cut down. It still eats strokes like I eat waffles (I do like waffles), but the rough grass is only a few inches tall and the blackberries are very sparse. You can walk through the rough and find your disc instantly instead of whatever you experienced.
Looks like you've been doing some major traveling lately!! Let me know if you are back down in the SF Bay area again anytime soon - love to get a round in
