Please don't litter on the courses, do not destruct benches/trash cans/signs/baskets/vegetation. Alot of hard work goes into building, breaking in, and maintaining a course. Not to meantion, your local parks and recreation organization is extremely generous to offer the land necessary to build one of these feats of engeneering. Be thankful, courteous and respectful so that these existing courses can remain standing, and that future courses may be installed.

I just played Elon Long what did you think? I am not a fan the course was ruff when i played it. Maybe it will get better when it gets broke in.
I'm down for hittin' up Rankin most any afternoon. I'm itchin' to play, haven't been out since Sunday. About the trade, I'm not sure what I want to do.
Do you ever play Elon? I haven't played it yet, and would like to hit it up. Or maybe we could sneak in Brackett's. There's a few courses around I'd like to check out, so I'm game for where ever, even if you want to come check out Rankin.
Get at me, and let me know when u wanna play at Bracketts Bluff. I will be gone this week though so maybe next week?
    Continued...

I'll be interested to see which tee you like better on 15. I definitely prefer the long tee even though it's a blind shot (at least during the summer). I think I've birdied that hole more from the long than from the short tee.

The 17th sounds good to me. I'll mark it in my schedule. That would be cool to play Elon twice. Once from the shorts and then from the longs. Then we could head over to Renny to have our big egos (after playing Elon) crushed. :)

I'm going to try my best to make it out to Sugaw Am league when it moves to Sundays. Sundays are challenging for me. I may not be able to make to make every weekend but hopefully at least once a month. We'll see.
I've been wanting to write a review of Elon but I've been waiting to play it now that the long tees have been poured. In fact that was the last time I was out at Elon; the day the long tees were poured. My experience with Elon from when I played the DGU league is that the challenge significantly increases from the short to long tees. There are a few holes where it really only increases the length of the drive but then there are other holes, especially in the back nine where the lines become a lot tighter. If you're having a bad day on the long tees it can be punishing. I've played on the long tees were my game became pinball disc. But I've never had that problem on the shorts. In fact I think my scores kind of speak to my game out there. On the short tees my best score is 46 and on the long tees my best score is 53. Speaking of aces, Elon is where I've gotten my only ace. It was on hole 7 from the short tees. That is by far the easiest hole to get an ace out there.
And you're absolutely right about concentrating too hard. I think I tend to over think my approaches and putts. Especially my putts. On our the last hole (13) during league I was about 30' from the basket. I took out my putter, approached my lie, looked up at the basket and just threw the disc. I nailed it! Not a second of concentration on my part. I think I'll try that more often. :)
Yeah I was really hurrying. It gets dark so quickly now. One of the things I don't like about this time of year is during the winter I will only be able to play on the weekends.

It got dark on me by the time I reached 12. I still can't believe I didn't lose any discs because it was really hard to see. Fortunately I didn't have any errant throws otherwise there would have been some MIA's.

I was distracted big time during the round. Not an excuse just shows my mental game needs a lot of work. Plus it seems like when I play at a slow pace my game goes down the tubes. It's really weird. I will be there tomorrow! What about you?
Hey Justin. Yeah, the CDGC website has been down since Friday afternoon.

I would definitely be interested in a round of disc golf this weekend! And I get to pick the course? Ahhhhh man, so many choices. How about Hornet's Nest? I've played it once and I would certainly like to pay that course another visit.

Are you gonna be playing at Sugaw tomorrow night? I'm thinking of going out there to try out that league. I saw on the CDGC website that they had 65 people show up last week! That's great. That says a lot about that league. Talk to ya later!
