Hey Dan, shoot me back a pm please. I'm friends with Mike Sale, if you would like a reference.
Just heard from Guinness today that my request to attempt it has been accepted. :) Any advice? hahah.

You going to try to take it back yourself this summer?
I need all money by this Thursday. If you cannot make that, I cannot guarantee anything. Our League will attempt to buy extra packages but they are obviously first come, first serve. If you pay by Thursday, you are locked in and ready to play. All I need is in an email or phone call (email preferred) your name, phone number, and a secondary way to contact you. You can pay paypal online or check or cash through the mail (at your risk). My paypal is scmarkquart@yahoo, but the email I check on a regular basis and the one you need to register with is [email protected]
Welcome to forum. happy to see another player of the picnic area, suprise we don't all have aces on one of these holes, think I've been within a few feet more times than I can count, sure you're in the same boat
At the same time, I really appreciate all your suggestions! This kind of stuff means so much to me that other people are willing to share their ideas, which is why I am so willing to do a tell all afterwards. Heck I will be bed ridden for a few days afterwards I am sure. :D I think I will have the time. ;) Thanks again so much for showing so much enthusiasm. I will be more than willing to even talk to you via phone to help you with your run also.

The 2nd longest day, Moon cycle, and all of that was planned a long time ago. Being a weekday also keeps the park fairly clear from too many people, even though the park department will close the course for me that day. I am starting at 1000 so I can muster through the heat while I am fresh. We will have decent lighting for what we may end up needing. I promise I will explain all of my preparations after the event on the site here. I am only going to do this once, so I would like a fair chance at least completing it before I tell everything I plan on doing. I am sure you can respect that. The last thing I need is to be one of the people that actually do all the research and have someone jump out and do it right in front of me making all my hard work worthless.
FYI, I am all for someone breaking what ever mark I hit. I think it would be great to see a bunch of people going after it. That would be be such a cool thing. I may have a twitter thing set up for this also. Still kind of working that out.
I will have a portable restroom on site and close by the route. I won't be having a playing partner, but will have someone with me at all times. Yes, they will help with discs that get out of site or lost. Correct on the drops, or unplayable lies. I will use this anytime I can't get to the disc easily.

Plus, I have to have a full time timekeeper/video camera person there too. This person will also keep track of all my scores. I will not be counting putts during this timebut will keep an over all hole by hole log.

I expect to stay in the par/bogey area as to not throw too hard or far very often. short steady as it goes pace kind of thing. I've hit some aces upon practicing, but I have decided that may not be the smartest throws over the course of a 24 hour stint.
Yes, I am all set for this month...it took almost 6 weeks to get my materials. There is tons of paper work involved and stuff that has to be done for it. It has actually taken lots of the fun out of it. I will let everyone know in the forum what number I set so you can go break it right after that.
