Pros:
Kinston is a facinating place with a unique perspective which carries over to the disc golf course.
The course is very technical. Most holes feature a tough tee shot and they demand a variety of different shots to be successful.
Elevation change and a beautiful creek bed are both used well.
Cons:
Very difficult to navigate! You really must have a guide on you first time through. There are no maps, tee signs or directions to next tee.
The course appears to be maintained at a minimum level for those who already know it.
There are no toilets, water, or benches on the course. Kingston does not have any prepared food - bring it from the city!
Fairways are often difficult to identify. Shots are through tightly wooded areas with the viable routes hard to distinguish from the tee.
The course is on very rough terrain. Stout footgear is an excellent idea. Week knees and ankles are not welcomed by mother nature here.
