Short Beginner Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 20, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Super short course

Good for throwing aces

Beginners will enjoy this

Cons:

An advanced player can use just a putter or low speed mid range the entire time.

Baskets are a little higher set than standard.

Tee pads are okay but not super long, although you never need a full drive

Other Thoughts:

Would be a fun course for beginners to try and get the hang of the game. Nowhere to really lose a disc and everyone can get to the basket in two throws. Helps with approach game but I wouldnt spend more than an hour there.

Fun chipping practice 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 6, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

short grass, water fountains, a nice little rock grotto in between course and highway. grilling stations and picnic tables. ALL of the holes provide a less than 200' shot at an ace. slightly more fun than practicing by shooting at the same basket all day, but only very slight variations of the same 150-200' shot. the trees that are here are mature and pretty.

Cons:

absence of any private seclusion, dozens of people mostly children frolicking around in the middle of the course almost every time i play. no hole longer than 200' and less than three trees or telephone poles on any given hole make it monotonous. but an ok way to work on approach game if these are the only targets you have access to throw at. the tee pads being so small do more to hinder your drive approaches than assist them.

Other Thoughts:

dont be surprised to see people playing this course with frisbees. lol

Its a course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 10, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

A lot of holes to ace easily. Short holes, some thin woods and other obstacles. Cement tee boxes. Plays through a park. Amazing playground on the course, the coolest castle and obstacle course I have ever played on. Very easy par. Nice locals. Better than no disc golf course.

Cons:

Baskets are homemade and in need of repair. Incredibly short holes, all of them par 3, which doesn't fit the distance. Baskets are grouped together, hard to figure out which basket is for which tee box. Scarcely any signs, and those that are there typically does not help you figure out which way to toss. Someone had to show us which way to play. Tee boxes aren't useful they are too tiny, only about 4 ft long and 2 ft wide.

Other Thoughts:

A lot of aces, but baskets make it tough for the disc to stick. Awesome park area on the course.
