Fun short course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 16, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Fun technical holes.
-Great course to take beginners to without being a yawn-fest if you're a good golfer.
-Nice and wooded.
-Never crowded.

Cons:

-As others have said, everything is very short.
-Bugs can be bad.
-On private property, call ahead to the camp to see if they have a camp during a specific day (they are very nice and will almost always let you play if there isn't an active camp)

Other Thoughts:

Even though this is a very short course, I can almost guarantee you're going to have a blast!

Quaker Hills 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 2, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

A nice practice course. only one longish hole but for the most part all holes are under 200 ft. It is a nice hike through th woods with awsome view of the "Vanilla Tree".

Cons:

It is located at a church camp so you cant play it in the summer months (June -Aug). No drinking allowed so be polite and dont.

Other Thoughts:

I think this course is a very well layed out course its just to bad the locals cant play it more often. Definetly a must to play if in town. Check in at the office before playing to get maps.

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Nov 24, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

great for practicing approach shots for larger courses, very technical, short course, so its great if you are stretched for time or forgot your driver.

Cons:

its at a church camp, so you feel bad for drinking beer, no long holes, so drivers are out of the question except for overhead shots. not well maintained

Other Thoughts:

Overall, I think the course is a good practice course for Tamarack DGC, which is about 15 miles away, because of similar terrain, so of you are in the area, check it out. You will be in and out within 40-45 minutes for 18 holes.
