Sweet little spot 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 6, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun and free -> this little nine hole course situated in a quiet residential area is a nice place to play/practice

Clever design -> makes the most of a small but pretty park by taking advantage of the hills and elevation changes

Cons:

A bit beat up -> the baskets have been beat up a bit (but they're still fine) and signs have seen better days

Goofy pars -> Never mind the par scores on the signs - a par 5 300' hole? :) - just play it them all as threes

Other Thoughts:

I've only ever dropped and thrown it once but I was pleasantly surprised and envious of the locals who live near by.

An excellent example of how disc golf can be integrated respectfully into community parks!

Nine hole courses almost always leave me disappointed and even confused - this one makes sense. :)

Ridiculously easy but fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 30, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Decent layout, very easy. Many Ace and birdie ops here. One hole I believe was under 100 feet!

Cons:

Not very challenging but there are trees to get lost in on some holes.

Other Thoughts:

Ignore the pars on the signs, these are all par 3s. Set in a park.

Pros:

Its got baskets, and its a disc golf course in central ontario. Easy to navigate, and some incredible creatitivity on such a small piece of land.

Cons:

9 holes on a very small park. They've done well to even make a passable disc golf course here. In the end, you'll be dissappointed if you go out of your way to play this course. Lots of pedestrian traffic. Short holes, some very wide open. We made some alternate tees that still only barely made this course fun.

Other Thoughts:

Living in Barrie, this was the closest course we had... Ridiculous that there isn't one in Barrie yet. Anyways, Often times we'd drive twice as far, to Brampton or Oakville just to play those 2, granted amazing, courses instead. Moral of the story, unless you are in Orillia, this course is not worth your time.
