Pros:

This course was a joy to play. It was easy to reach and navigate for a foreigner visiting Norway. The tee signs were as good as any I've seen. The tees were level and safe. The baskets were in good shape, with arrows pointing the way to the next hole (with the exception of holes 17 and 18, which I never found). The designers wisely used mandos and OB (all clearly marked) to keep the holes tucked away from each other and the surrounding homes and park activities. It rained overnight the day before I played, and the grass was very wet, but the tees were solid and I never had to walk through mud. There are boardwalks to keep you dry. Maybe after really heavy rain it would get bad.

The elevation was used in fun ways. Hole 14 was a signature hole, with a pin standing out on top of a beautiful boulder outcropping, with enough plants and little ledges around to make it worth going for the elevated pin. 15 was another great challenge, turning right through trees after an initial flight over a little ravine (which unfortunately has 16's fairway in it). 6, 9, and 13 all drove uphill.

The trees were never unfairly thick. You can tell that a dedicated disc golfer designed this course to force players to shape lines, but to give them a few options when doing so.

All in all, a great and well-maintained course that is just very short.

Cons:

The course is short. You will rarely let it rip. There are just 16 holes, as far as I can tell.

Other Thoughts:

Friluftsliv is the Norwegian ethic to enjoy the fresh air and outdoors, which apparently extends to playing disc golf!
