Attracts beginners 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 1, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The course is easy to access in central Gothenburg and have many visitors. The hole lengths are suitable for beginners and intermediates but also offer a challenge for better players.

Cons:

No one takes care of the course anymore so teepads are becoming dangerous and some of the holes in the forest have a rough with high grass which offer some risks for lost discs.

Since so many players have using this course for the last twenty years, there's hardly any grass on the fairways, which means that even the dirt starts to erode and the fairway (on many holes) consists of sharp rocks.

Motionscentrum Skatas 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 6, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Skatas frisbeegolf consists of a 18-hole course and a 9.hole course. The Baskets are in good condition and the tees are mostly paved. There are no signs, but there's is map at the central place and you can get score cards including maps at the reception. It's a very wavy course and well maintained. The small course is set together by rather short and easy holes. Nice atmosphere and in summer you may sometimes find different berries nearby.

Other Thoughts:

You have to pay for the parking. At the reception you may also find a restaurant and restrooms.

Gothenburg Skatas Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 14, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun par 3 course
Nice elevation changes on some holes
Left and right turning holes
Beautiful park setting
Newer baskets
Some water = creeks

Cons:

Once you get to hole 15 things get a little confusing while the baskets get close to the 9 hole course
Hole 18 has a basket from the other course around 100 feet directly in front of the tee
Mountain bikers on some holes
Tee pads were concrete square pavers. Some were not laid in a rectangular pad - hopscotch-like

Other Thoughts:

would love to go back and play again
would rate higher if the 9 hole baskets weren't intertwined with the last 4 holes.
Pay to play very reasonable - 25 kroner
Disc rental available15 kroner - probably the most reasonable price of anything in Sweden!
Would love to see Skatas Park stamped discs for sale
