Pros:

- Innova Discatcher Baskets

Thats it. Thats the only pro

Cons:

- Rubber Teepads that are worn out pretty heavily
- Some teepads are washed out with mud and dirt from what looks like run off
- They have nice teesigns but they do not tell you which way to throw. More than once I threw the wrong way on a hole because I couldnt tell which basket was the right one to throw to.
- Pins are directly next to teepads.
- 4 holes share 2 pins
- Forces you to play in, over and around a playground, picnic area, baseball diamond and roads.
- The parking lot is in the middle of the course so I suggest you start there instead of trying to find hole 1.

Other Thoughts:

I played here only because I was staying in town. Id suggest you only play the course if you have no other option. This course should be avoided at all costs.

Pros:

Baskets are in great shape. Tee boxes are in fair shape. I really like the signs at the Tee boxes. Great idea to have support from other people. A clean park.

Cons:

Safety is my pet pev. The parking lot and playground euipment in the line of fire. You really have to watch where you are throwing,Two holes were sharing the same basket. Just make the course a 10 holes.

Other Thoughts:

The day I played, nobody else was around. the closest restrooms were back up the street at the local gas station.

Pros:

Great beginners course. Completely flat and almost no trees. Wide open so you can concentrate on distance and having fun. Great if you are just getting your arm under you.

Cons:

There is a mandatory around the baseball field on two holes, and the batters net can get in the way. Try not to get your disc on the shelter roof, but if you do, it is possible to move the dumpster next to the roof and climb on up.

Other Thoughts:

If you are passing through on I-94, stop and play this fine 12 hole course. It'll be a good stress reliever.

Great Beginner Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 1, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

A great course designed for the beginning disc golfer. The course is open and flat...well marked...and easy to play. The course features Fly 18 rubber tee pads and Innova DISCatcher baskets and tee pad signs.

Cons:

The course is in a small town park area which may have visitors during peak holiday times...however, being in a small community, this shouldn't pose a problem. Sadly, vandals have damaged some of the Fly 18 rubber tee pads...but they are still very playable.

Other Thoughts:

The course is well marked. One cool aspect of this course are the addition of "Birding Signs" at each of the holes. This "Bird Signs" tie into the fact that Steele, ND is a major bird migration path. It was fun to play the course and read interesting info about birds native to that area. It would be nice to see this course develop into 18 holes instead of the current 12.

Beware of People in the parks 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 23, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is a good beginner course. The course is easy to follow and is really clean.

Cons:

It is a flat fairly open course. There has the potential to be lots of people here just playing and the course goes right through the high traffic areas.

Other Thoughts:

The holes very in distance from 200 to near 400 feet. Most are between 250 and 330. If you have a few minutes and are on 94 just east of Bismark, play it. You are sure to get a low score.
