not much to say about this course that hasn't already been said, This is the type of course that will introduce new players to the game.

they are now building a walking path though the course. It would be very hard to find 1st tee if you hadn't played this course before

Good place to practice shots or learn to play disc golf. Located 1 mile from I81 exit 146, easy to find. You can play the course as designed or you can use the baskets and create your own path through the baskets.

Only 9 holes, too open, needs more trees on holes.

Course has had all tee markers replaced and are easier to locate. Tee markers are now painted bright yellow and contain hole number and distance to the hole. All holes were remeasured before tee markers were redone. Course board has new course map and instructions on how to locate the tees. Each basket has blue and white paint on a spoke in the bottom of basket that points in the general direction of the next tee. Inside the top ring of the basket there is a pointer that points directly at the next tee and lists the number of feet to the next tee. If you check for the markers on the baskets then the next tees are easy to locate. Discussions are in under way with the parks department to add 9 more holes in 2011 as well as planting more trees on the course, improving tees and tee markers. As most have said, it's a good practice course and it is a good course for a beginner as long as you're not having to drive much to get there. Nice baskets.

Took us 20 minutes to find the tee "box" (is that what you call a brick in the ground with a number painted on it?) Very poorly marked holes/tees. Come on people, is it too hard to put up a small sign. You only have to get 9 of them.Snatch up a few of these politician's signs and paint over them, anything is better than almost nothing, which is what they have.

Not challenging at all. As some have said, kinda boring. Hole one has a slight challenge (other than finding the tee box) with it's use of elevation. Play it if you're in the area and want to get in some chain time, but don't include it in your trip unless you have to drive right past it.

Decent use of elevation on hole 1. It is a decent course for people who live close and need a place to practice. If you play the pro tees, there are a few holes with a turn in them. Wide open and easy course for beginners to start playing on.

There is almost no difficulty in this course. It is not maintained as much as it should be as the grass is usually pretty long... There are about 6 trees spread out across a big field and the holes are just scattered around.

If used for practicing specific throws or for beginners, it's not terrible. I don't play there anymore, because once you've started playing real courses, there is 0 incentive to return here.

Quick 9 hole course. This course tends to be not used too often. It was the first course I ever played. It is a good beginners course because it does not have that many obstacles and it is quite hard to lose a disc but it can happen. It has pro tees and standard tees.

Tees can be extremely hard to find because they are just bricks in the ground. I have played here many times and the grass was not mowed and it was hard finding my disc after my drive. It is only a nine hole course witch can prove to be quite annoying if you want to play for a while.

It was the first course I have played so it kinda is sentimental. I would choose this course over fishburn park in roanoke va. anyday.

Blue/white arrows on each basket which will, for the most part, help you find the next tee area - persistence pays off! Without these, you'd be lost.

Only a mile off I81, near gas stations, amenities (El Rodeo for good Mexican food), bathrooms on site.

Several changes in elevation, especially from the blue tees.

Grass tees are marked by ground-level bricks that can be difficult to find.

Fairly wide open course, with only a couple of trees near baskets providing any sort of obstacle.

Particularly from the blues, tees, fairways, and baskets can interfere with each other - teeing for blue #7, for example, has blue tee #6 throwing from behind/over you, blue tee #5 throwing towards you for basket #5 behind your other side!

To find blue tee #1, from the log cabin/senior rec center, follow the gravel path behind the bathroom towards the baseball field - as you near the rightfield corner, look down along the left side of the path.

To find white tee #1, go to the right back corner of the log cabin, then head diagonally towards the woods towards the nearest evergreen - tee will be about halfway between building and woods.

From the white tees, the holes range in distance from 200-375', with an average of 265'; from the blues, the range is 275-450', with an average of 350'.

From the whites, the tees play rather neutrally, but from the blues, probably the advantage goes to LHBH throwing hyzers.

Quick round in the field. Good place to work on your game in the wind. Can safari and play whatever. Uses what obstacles are available. Good course for begineers to learn the game. Can be played in about 40 minutes or less

It is nine baskets in the middle of a field. Tees are only marked by bricks in the ground can be tricky to find. No maps. No directions to first tee. Only nine holes.

Next Tees are marked in bottom of basket to white and blue to at least point you in the right direction. Plenty of parking. 2.0 = reasonable which is what this course is. Not a tournament course, but a good place to knock out a quick one.

Very open, and well maintained course. Mowed regularly, multiple tees(hard to find your first time). Great course for beginners.

Some pins are actually completely unobstructed, making for easy birdies on most holes from white tees, and if you have the distance also on the blues.

The park that this cousre is in is very large, and this could easily be a much tougher 18 if the county went to the expense.

nice open terrain, course has good elevation changes. the course has blue and white tees. easy to get to from interstate 81.

tees are marked poorly by small board in the ground. unless you have played there, it takes a little bit to find them.

first white tee is in the field behind the senior center, there is a course map on small board with a disc nailed into the top of it.only water hazard is a duck pond, which only affects if you have a bad shot from the blue tee on hole 8.
