Pros:

Great use of the terrain which walks you up and down a ridge several times thru the round. I'm biased because i helped carve a fairway out of the woods back in 07. Navigation has been improved by arrows on trees & branches lining pathways. Parking has gotten better

Cons:

Fall and wet condition play is a dangerous combination here. Wear appropriate footwear !!

Other Thoughts:

The Grand Opening/Closed for the Winter tourney was played this weekend and one first-timer to the course called it "The toughest 4400' course you'll ever play"

Pros:

Fantastic layout! This course is challenging and requires lots of technique and throwing styles. Gives long holes, short holes, steep uphill and down hill shots. The pin placements were also well thought out and fun. One (8 I think) was well atop a boulder a good 5-6 feet over my head, Another (17) was hidden in a rock crevice after trowing about 300 ft uphill. Fun course to play, rock formations made it very interesting.

Cons:

While all the holes look/play great the course still seems to be a work in progress. Tees were hard to find and sometimes not well marked (a couple I had trouble telling which direction I was to throw in.) I strongly recommend printing out the map of the course provided here, without it I may not have been able to finish the course. The 'parking lot' and start was also difficult to find once I was on the road.

Other Thoughts:

If it weren't for the navigation problems I'd be giving a 4.5-5 rating for the course. The holes, once found, were so much fun.
