Pros:

Decent baskets/signs scattered about a tree-lined field is better than no baskets.

Cons:

Single dirt-tees/basket positions, very short and flat, cross-fire potential.

Other Thoughts:

After three ~200' holes skirting the edge of a woods (trees to your left), the next four holes, each ~250', zig-zag across an open field. A ~200' shot through a few trees followed by a ~200' left-turning shot takes you back to the start. Nearly every tee location is in danger of being hit by a drive from the previous hole.

Skateboard park, batting cages, mini-golf, and horseshoe pits also available at the site.

Ace Hunt! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 15, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Truly has the potential to garner aces on every hole...particularly the open back and forth holes 4-7. There are other activities nearby to keep the not so interested in disc golf happy for a little awhile. Hole 1 has a huge pile of debri/rubbish to throw around and hole 9 has a little pond that might gobble early hyzers. Hole 8 is probably the most technical and fun approach. Nothing real difficult here so you can feel free to make ace runs on every hole. Navigation is simple and shule is mostly nonexistent.

Cons:

It's a terrible course for anyone who knows anything about the sport. Has everything disc golfers cringe about. Too short (the distances are beginner level), too open(holes 2-7 are basically throwing across the same field), too dangerous (holes 4-7 literally have you facing off at adjacent fairways...feels almost like you are throwing horseshoes, if ever busy look out!), too expensive (apparently its 5 bucks to play all day, but why would anyone wanna play here when there are such better courses in Delaware..I was ready to leave after playing it once!) and lastly it's got zero creativity(the design is not creative and it takes zero creativity to play here) There really is not a lot to like here outside of chasing aces!

Other Thoughts:

It takes a lot for me to rate this low. I guess I expect a bit more for pay to play. At least put the baskets up on little mounds or some type of silly obstacle here and there. I also think the danger level is way too high for a beginner course, where discs are likely to be sailing all over the course. My advice, skip it and spend more time at nearby Killens Pond or Cape Henlopen!

Pros:

It's located with a bating cage and puttputt, has two or three holes that have a bt of challenge, 9 could go over a pond for an interesting shot, could be great for practicing trying to ace that straight long drive

Cons:

pay to play for a 9 hole, how ever it for all day, 4 hole are basically back and forth across a field

Other Thoughts:

i chatted with the owners and gave them some thoughts on things to make it a bit more challenging and exciting, maybe changes will be made.
