The Pomme de Terre course will always hold a special place in my heart. It's not flashy, but it's where I had my start, and it's made me a much better player over the years. There isn't much diversity, but the constant need to throw between and around tree trunks favors the accurate player and forces you to grow in your skill. Almost no hole is a shoo in, and that's what keeps this course fresh and fun every time.

- Fairways weren't really crafted. Pretty sure they stuck some pins in spots and didn't move trees. So lines are tight and unless you massively hyzer all the way around, you'll be hitting trees on every drive of almost every hole. (But it's a good way to get a disc beat in
- Tee pads are concave and sandy. They are loose, uneven, and stain your pants/shoes/socks orange

Hole 9 is by far the longest and most fun. The pin is well-guarded by trees, but I usually can get a par.

The park is also home to campgrounds, a splash park, basketball court, and some reservable shelters with running water, etc. It's a great place to spend a weekend!

-Each hole has its unique challenges but nothing is "unreachable" to make par.
-For a beginner like myself, the many tress improve your accuracy and the different hole distances gives variety.

-Morris can be exceptionally windy.
-The tee box could be better. It is just baseball dirt with a wood foot "stopper." Sometimes the wood isn't "facing" the direction of the basket.

-Very solid course for the area. The park is maintained pretty well but could be mowed more often.
-There are other activities at the park for the family to enjoy while you go play some disc golf

+Lots of length here. There are at least 2 holes that are over 400 feet. Hole 9 is long and has a cool pin position surrounded by some large trees. Some holes are a little shorter but far from pitch and putt. Aces are possible with accuracy.
+Signs are helpful enough. The layout is easy to follow as the next tee is pretty close to the last basket. The course also wraps around so you start and finish at the same place. There are no blind tees so you can see all baskets off the tee.
+Lots of trees in the fairway on some holes. There is always a line or two but you need accurate tosses to avoid the trees. Many trees are well positioned near the tee or basket.
+The course is scenic with the Pomme de Terre River right next to the course. The river can come into play if you throw too far or too far to the right on a few holes. The park is also well maintained and clean. There are hole sponsors for every hole and the course looks like it will continue to be maintained. There is plenty of parking and you can camp there. There is a playground, shelter, etc so you can let the kids play on the playground while throwing a round.
+The park has many things to do but at the same time, there should be little interference in your round unless you happen to throw it onto the road that bisects the course.
+You are unlikely to lose a disc unless you put it into the river. It was exceptionally windy the day that I played and I didn't get close to losing a disc.

-Pretty flat right near the river. The two long holes are the only ones with any elevation and that is less than 10' off elevation change.
-The tees are made of something that reminds me of a baseball field. They are kind of soft and not ideal to throw from. They could be worse or better for sure.

+This course had a high fun factor for me. I wouldn't mind having this course for my home course and would definitely play this course again if I were in the area. I would recommend a stop here if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. This course is solid.
+This course is good for players of all levels. It shouldn't be too hard for beginners or too easy for better players.

A decent overall course. Flat landscape with trees sparsely laid out to challenge throws. If you get your drive past the initial waves of trees on each hole there is a great chance of going under par. Water hazards on 5,7,9...must be careful on those holes as the swamp nearby is not desirable to go into to retrieve a lost disc.

Traffic, or lack of. It's never very busy so you 're never being pushed or waiting to throw. It can be challenging especially on windy day's yet forgiving enough that a bad shot or two won't wreck a round. the layout makes good use of the space and the grounds are well maintained.

Tee pads are natural and can get muddy after a rain. Wind is often a factor. A bench here and there would be nice.

It's the best all around 9 hole i've played on. Great course if you like throwing multiple discs since traffic is rarely, if ever, an issue. I play it daily and have yet to get tired of it.

A friendly, fun course that is suitable for all types of players. The holes are challenging yet somewhat forgiving. Good amount of trees with a low canopy that makes some of the tee offs slightly difficult. The Pomme de Terre River adds water hazards on Holes 5, 7 and 9.

If you are looking for good elevation changes, this is not the course to find it. Tee boxes are just mud and or dirt. The hole signs seem to fall out of the ground often.

The Pomme de Terre course has impressive aspects which is hard to find relative to the surrounding areas. Nothing to fancy, but the low traffic and beautiful park make it a must throw.
